Jerry Wang is the chairman of Daxon Technology, vice chairman of BenQ Corporation. Since joining BenQ in 2001, Wang has been responsible for the establishment, strategic planning and operations of the BenQ brand. Under his guidance, BenQ has made itself a global brand name with distinct style in a short 6-year span.
Wang’s rare experience to have successfully managed two internationally renowned brands is a gem in the industry. His guidance in repositioning the Acer brand in the market propelled the brand in consumer awareness; his vital leadership in BenQ’s brand establishment, strategic planning and corporate visual identity system catapulted the BenQ brand to the global stage. Wang is also an expert in sports sponsorship; he has coordinated sponsorships in major international sport events, including the 1998 Asia Games and the UEFA EURO 2004 as the official IT & statistics provider.
Wang has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the consumer IT industry. Starting his career at Acer Group in 1985 as a sales engineer, he soon ascended the ranks as Marketing Manager, Director of Product Management, Managing Director of Acer UK, and Managing Director of Acer’s Northwest Europe operations. In 1998, Wang was promoted to Acer’s Vice President of Corporate Brand Management, spearheading the repositioning of the Acer brand name. Wang’s initiatives included the repositioning the Acer brand and the transformation of the Acer logo, the innovative Total Brand Management system.
Wang holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird – The American Graduate School of International Management.

Ted TT Huang is the president of Daxon Technology, who was born in 1951. Ted holds a BS degree in industrial engineering and management from Tatung university, and EMBA degree from America Standford College. Prior to his career in BenQ group, Ted served in Philip Electronics, JT Electronics Information, and Motorola Electronics. Ted joined BenQ in 1989, and was assigned to subsidiary company in Malaysia as the manager of material department, the manager of Visual factory and the president. At that time Ted led the factory increase the capacity rapidly and help the company reach the profit goal. Because of his outstanding performance, Ted was appointed as the president of Daxon Technology on January in 2000. Ted led Daxon grow sharply and win the Award for International Trade in 2002 whish for businesses that maintained excellent trade performance.

Shihkun Chen is the vice president of Daxon Technology, who was born in 1968. Shihkun receives his BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University and Master degree from National Tsing Hua University. He joined AUO in 1997 and held the posts of department manager, vice factory manager and factory manager. From the building and mass production of the 3.5th, 4th, to 5th generation of factory, Shihkun always achieved all missions and tasks, and reached the operation goal of the company. He took charges as the vice president of the Polarizer business because the group plan of vertical integration in 2006 Mar. Shihkun led the Polarizer business product massively, profited rapidly, and made the sales growing every month. |
